Elena Gutierrez: This project is studying organizational innovation, employee characteristics and leadership styles. The goal is to determine that individuals (employees) working in innovative/creative jobs have certain characteristics that make them successful in the innovative processes. This study also focuses on leadership style preference of innovative/creative individuals. Involvement in this study will take approximately 10-15 minutes. All responses will be kept confidential. Dr. Rachna Kumar, Dr. Nurcan Ensari, Dr. Cevahir Uzkurt:This project is designed to examine the psychometric properties of a new organizational innovativeness scale. Participants must be employees 18-years or older who are working in organizations. We are looking for employees from diverse ethnic and racial backgrounds. Jessica Craig: This study examines the relationship between personality characteristics, organizational commitment, and corporate social responsibility involvement. Participants must be 18-years of age and currently employed. Participant identities will be kept anonymous. Michelle Wright: This research examines problem-solving strategies in healthy adults. You must be 18 years and older, have no history of traumatic brain injury within the past two years, no current psychiatric diagnosis (i.e. Bipolar Disorder or Schizophrenia), and no current physical limitations to fine motor skills which impact your ability to manipulate small objects in an efficient manner. This research study should take approximately 20-25 minutes to complete. Participation in this study will involve the completion of a brief demographic survey and several cognitive tests. Following completion of the study, you will be invited to select a $5 gift card of your choice for Starbucks, Jamba Juice or Subway as compensation for your time and effort. Angie Wright: Are you a female who is 18-years old or older, married, widowed, separated or divorced and not pregnant? You are eligible to take an online survey that will take approximately 15 to 30 minutes to complete. This research is part of a doctoral dissertation and explores experiences with marriage and satisfaction in life. Bentley Hess: This research will focus on substance addiction and relationships. I am looking for participants who are currently in (or have been in the past) a relationship with a substance abuser (alcohol and/or drugs) to take this survey which consists of several questionnaires. it is completely anonymous. Susan O' Brien: This study aims to explore the experiences of gay adolescent males between the ages of 13 and 18-years old. The research will focus on protective factors for suicide, gender role conflict, and the unique traits or life experiences of this group. Lance Zimmerman: This research focuses on adult men and women's attitudes and responses to stress within romantic relationships. This study requests that participants have been in a relationship that has lasted at least one month. This relationship must have occurred during the last part of the past 12 month period. A Spanish-language version is available. Survey time requirement is approximately 25-35 minutes. Michelle Dexter: This study aims to clarify the use and perceived effectiveness of social support by individuals from different ethnic groups. Participation can expect to take approximately 20 minutes. Participants must be adults (over 10 years of age) from Arab American/Middle Eastern American, Hispanic/Latina/o or Caucasian/European American ethnic groups. Bethanne Mleczko:This study is designed to assess public opinion regarding stalking crimes. Participants must be at least 18 years old, read and write in English, have lived in the U.S.A. for the past five years, and have not participated in the pilot study connected to this research project. It will take approximately 10 minutest to complete t.his survey. Participants will be asked to fill out a demographic questionnaire followed by a short stalking vignette and questions regarding your opinions about the vignette. Some of these questions may be personal in nature. To ensure your anonymity, your name will not be attached or linked to the questionnaire. Lisa Grajewski:This study focuses the impact of Military Sexual Trauma on perceived fitness for duty. Potential participants must be female military veterans who have at least one year of honorable service in the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, or Navy and who have OR have not reported Military Sexual Trauma while serving. Participants can expect to spend approximately 30 minutes signing the Informed Consent Form, completing the questionnaire, and asking any questions. William Kammerer: This study focuses on decision-making and personality. The sequence of this study goes in the order of: 1) completing a mental focus enhancement task; 2) playing a repeated decision-making game for a few repititions; and 3) answering some questions about the tasks you just completed and about yourself and your preferences. Kristin Lenihan: This research explores connections between aspects of religiousness, religious behavior and romantic relationship functioning in members of same-sex couples who identify with a Christian denomination (active participation in one's faith/church is not a requirement). Participation involves completing a series of online questionnaires. The time needed to complete all the measures is estimated to be 15-20 minutes. Thank you for your consideration. Alisa Title: This study will look at attitudes of adults towards marriage, divorce, and cohabitation. Participants are to be heterosexual individuals between the ages of 18 to 65 years old who are not married, born in the USA, and:
- Were 18 years or younger when their parents were divorced, and whose parents were married for a minimum of 2 years and
- Adults whose parents are still married and never divorced, or were 18 years and older when their parents divorced
For this study a demographic questionnaire will be administered, and an instrument measuring attitudes on marriage, cohabitation and divorce. Beverly Frazier: This research survey explores employee perceptions of psychological contracts in the workplace. This research will help organizations identify effective ways to enhance work environments and motivate employees. In order to fulfill the requirements to participate, participants must work at least part-time (20 hours or more per week), and must be at least 18 years old. Furthermore, I will ask if participants can provide me with names and emails for one to five of their peers they currently work with.
